I spent the afternoon at Kings College London with research fellow Stephanie Wright talking about all things microplastics and looking at the kind of experiments she is working on. Steph is interested in the effect of microplastics on human health. It has made me realise the extent of the problem. Plastics are everywhere! Scary stuff.
